The following lots
are GREENLAND complete SAVINGS BOOKS with 25ore and/or 1kr Sparmaerke
stamps tied w/AVANE or town cancels. These stamps came into use in 1939
after the use of Pakke Portos was discontinued. Each Book is different
and they make wonderful exhibit pages in either an open or closed format.
We have handled many Savings Books w/Pakke Portos but these are the first
we have seen using Sparemaerke stamps. Quite scarce. |
